Abstract
Developing entrepreneurial competence among students is a crucial aspect of preparing vocational education graduates capable of creating business opportunities and developing value-added products. Students in the Agroindustry Management study program require not only technical skills in processing agricultural products but also proficiency in business communication, promotion, customer service, business management, and an understanding of legal requirements. This community service initiative aims to strengthen entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through an entrepreneurship seminar titled "Upgrading Student Skills: Public Speaking, Promotion, and Customer Handling." The program was designed through a collaboration between industry practitioners and the Department of Cooperatives. Practitioners covered topics such as entrepreneurial mindset, public speaking, promotion, and customer handling, while the Department of Cooperatives provided insights into the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship, management, and business legality. The seminar format included presentations, interactive discussions, and a Q&A session. This approach integrates practical business experience with conceptual and institutional understanding. The seminar content was designed to help students learn how to communicate product advantages, develop promotional strategies, provide customer service, and plan and manage agroindustry-based businesses. This initiative is expected to serve as a means to bolster students' entrepreneurial competencies and support the development of creative, innovative, and market-oriented businesses rooted in local potential.
